bilidown uses the network only for:
Bilibili APIs and media CDNs.
Only when enabled in Settings.
Update checks and public release information.
The app never asks for a Bilibili password. After QR sign-in, cookies stay local and use permissions already available to your account.
Settings can clear cover cache, temporary files and logs without deleting downloaded files, settings, history or credentials.
The website has no account login, database, advertising or tracking enabled by default. Theme preference stays in the browser. The download page only reads public GitHub release data.
bilidown is not an official Bilibili client and has no affiliation or authorization from Bilibili. Only download content you have permission to save and follow platform terms and local law.
Project code uses the MIT License. The in-app license page lists versions, source URLs and licenses for FFmpeg and other third-party components.
