Before installing

  • Download from this page or official GitHub Releases.
  • The installer already includes ffmpeg.
  • Files go to the system Downloads folder by default and can be changed in Settings.
  • App data stays local. Clearing cache and logs does not delete downloaded files.

Install or verification fails

The system reports an unknown developer
The current builds are not commercially signed. Confirm the source, then follow the system prompt above.
SHA256 does not match
Delete the installer. Download it again from the official GitHub Release and verify it.
App and website versions differ
Open About in the app to see the installed version. Refresh this page or open GitHub Releases for the current release.

If macOS says the app is damaged, run this command in Terminal:

sudo xattr -cr /Applications/bilidown.app

For a Windows SmartScreen prompt, choose More info → Run anyway.

Check SHA256

Each release includes SHA256SUMS.txt.
